Results

Initially a 3 month campaign, FreeSmokeAlarm.co.uk and its linking Facebook & Twitter pages have helped to raise the profile of the Home Fire Safety Check within the North Wales region. With 814 fans on Facebook and 694 followers on Twitter, North Wales Fire and Rescue Service are now in constant dialogue with their target audience base and are able to measure interaction and enquiries generated from their micro site, through analytics, call tracking, social media insights and an online database.

North Wales Fire & Rescue service commented that as well as serving to build good links within the community, the micro site along with events and offline campaigns has contributed towards a 10% improvement in the number of Home Fire Safety Checks carried out in comparison to the previous year.
